Life Questions from the Book of Job (CE101): Through May 27 this study grapples with situations in life that eventually challenge us all, exploring how this book can help us in our own time of need, as well as when we want to be a comfort to others. Leaders: Margaret Leinbach and Lehoma Goode
Continuing the Discussion (in the Chapel): Each week offers this opportunity to gather in the Chapel for dialogue with that day’s preacher, who is open to questions or reflections about the morning’s sermon or scripture.
Moravian Covenant for Christian Living (YOUNG ADULT classroom, 2nd floor CE building): Using Craig Atwood’s study guide, young adults have the opportunity to explore this old yet current document, understanding how we as Moravians have agreed to live together. Leaders: Class Members
Special adult Bible study series are often planned, and more information is available through the church office, (336) 722-6271.
Wednesday Night Fellowship, held September to May, offers dinner and program options on topics as varied as Moravian heritage, community programs, travel and book discussions. See the online calendar for more information.
Gemeinschaft is a uniquely Moravian practice in which adults meet regularly in small groups to explore their faith journey, with the goal of forming a deeper experience of God through prayer, journaling, reflection, study, scripture reading, fellowship, listening to God and to others, and learning about oneself and others. Please use the contact form to request more information about this program.
